It marked a second successive century of successes and was notable for some high-profile stakes winners. Youmzain recorded an outstanding and deserved Group One triumph in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud. It was the second time he had been victorious in top company, having also won Preis Von Europa in Cologne in 2006.
In 2008, other notable Rabbah-managed stakes winners were Arabian Gleam (Park Stakes), Lovelace (Darley Oettingen-Rennen), Racer Forever (Criterion Stakes), Love Of Dubai (Italian 1000 Guineas) and Hattan (Winter Derby and September Stakes).
The colours of many of our owners are well known to racing enthusiasts around the world. Their UK-based horses are stabled with a host of top trainers as well as some of the rising stars of the training ranks. Rabbah-managed horses are also to be found in Germany, France and America while many of our owners are represented each spring at the prestigious and increasingly important Dubai International Racing Carnival.
In 2009, expect the silks of Rabbah owners to once again be seen at many of racing’s grandest and influential meetings. This website will provide details of all our runners and winners as well as in-depth previews and reviews of our big-race participants. It will also aim to give news from the paddocks with many of our owners’ mares located at our two bases, Gainsborough Stud near Newbury and Aston Upthorpe in Oxfordshire.
